CONTRACT FOR TRANSPORT OF SEMEN

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

I hereby confirm my reservation to the stallion _______________________Reg. #______

 

1.     The “breeding season” referred to in this contract begins February 1^st and ends Aug. 1^st of the current year.  

2.     Gregglea Clydesdales will ship semen from the above named stallion as many times as needed during the above stated “breeding season” at the expense of the mare owner.

3.     Gregglea Clydesdales responsibility to this contract ends when the below named mare becomes pregnant or when the active breeding season ends.

4.     Contract options:  1.- $750.00 – breeding through 2 breeding seasons.

                                        2. - $1,000.00 – Live foal guarantee.

Payment due at time of first shipment for option 1

5.     A collection fee of $100.00 will be charged for each shipment of semen.

6.     Any transportation fees will be the responsibility of the mare owner for each shipment drawn.

7.     Gregglea Clydesdales assumes responsibility only to deliver semen in viable condition at the time of delivery to the mare owners farm or other designated location.

8.     The parties agree that the terms and conditions stated herein set forth the entire agreement of the parties.

9.     I understand that the mare owner shall assume all responsibility for the condition of the mare and shall bear all risk of loss or damage to the mare whether by death, injury, infection or otherwise, and by any other person employed by or associated with Gregglea Clydesdales, harmless, for any and all damages associated therewith.
